I have over 25 years of teaching experience at institutions of higher education. I have taught a wide variety of graduate and undergraduate level courses (ranging from developmental level mathematics to advanced level undergraduate and graduate courses). I have provided academic and non-academic advisement, mentoring and guidance to students with a broad range of needs, backgrounds, and diverse levels of mathematical maturity. My research interest is in the area of Thermonuclear Fusion Science with specific interest in Divertor Physics using concepts and techniques from Symplectic Geometry and Hamiltonian Dynamics, Theory of Discrete Iterative Mappings, Nonlinear Dynamical Systems and Chaos Theory.
