- University of Florida has been awarded an NSF grant for the Bridge to the Doctorate (BD), a fellowship sponsored by the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP). The UF Graduate School has 16 total fellowships--12 from NSF and 4 from the Vice President for Research. BD fellows receive stipends of $30,000 per year for the first two years of graduate study, plus graduate tuition and fees. BD fellows will then receive at least three additional years of support if needed and beyond that period if the student is in good standing.
